April 29 Newbury Park to Little Kingshill
 |
A lovely day to start. I packed my bag and prepared to leave London. The
camera batteries which I had so maligned a couple of days ago managed about
50 photos yesterday so I should be fine for the small number that I will
be taking today.
A very long tube journey about 70 minutes - took me to Ealing, where the
church was glistening in the sunshine and the green was er
. green. Even
the office looked pretty.

After 6 hours there, playing computing, discussing important issues and
stuffing envelopes, I made my escape across the green and caught a crowded
train the five stops to Langley, where Janet collected me and whisked me
up the highways and byways to Little Kingshill.
In the evening, we drove to the Red Lion at Bradenham, met Jerry & Kathryn
and had a good dinner.
