April 22 Bridgnorth to Little Kingshill
Cloudy again but quite warm, with the sun trying to break through. I drove
to Shrewsbury and explored the new business park from several angles before
finally locating my accountant's new offices.

After a lengthy chat, I drove across town to Phil's house in the lee of
The Column, erected in honour of Lord Hill, the inventor of the penny post.
We paid a brief visit to St Giles's, Phil's church, which is well hidden
by trees and then crossed the road and lunched at the Peacock, a pub with
a splendid sign but which has been painted a very nasty shade of yellow.
After leaving Shrewsbury, I drove south as fast as I could, encountered
lots of traffic, and arrived at Malcolm & Janet's about an hour later than
scheduled.
